Council endorses trading two vehicles for a single flatbed truck and approves capital expenditures

Councilors discussed the Street Department's storage facility and vehicle needs during the July 3 special meeting and proposed a plan to trade in two existing vehicles to obtain a single new vehicle equipped with a flatbed.

Staff members Whitesell and Robertson answered council questions about vehicle needs and storage use. After extended discussion, the council approved capital expenditures related to the Street Department as part of the tentative budget changes.
