Board authorizes Dewberry task order for Pleasant Grove well testing, drilling and hydrogeologic report

The board approved a task order under the county's term contract with Dewberry Engineers to conduct preliminary environmental assessment, coordinate drilling of up to six test wells (yield and quality testing), and prepare a hydrogeologic memorandum supporting Pleasant Grove water-system planning.

Staff said the work is time-and-materials and has been funded in the FY '27 budget; the motion authorized the county administrator to execute the agreement subject to form approval by the county attorney. Board members asked about site access and whether drilling locations would affect recreational features such as a nearby Frisbee-golf course; staff said high-priority locations were selected for yield potential and access. The motion passed unanimously.
