Representative urges action to free motor-fuel and emergency funds as local projects stall

Representative Morrison joined the Palatine Village Council meeting to accept a proclamation recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month and to discuss how the state budget impasse is affecting local services. "These are and quite honestly, these are being held hostage in this process," the chair said, urging Morrison to cosponsor measures to release critical funds. Morrison described ongoing floor and caucus efforts and said she will carry local concerns back to Springfield.
