Palatine council and Liquor Commission approve Class G license for Pie 5 Pizza Company at 787 E. Dundee Road

Councilman Kozlowski, chair of the Police Policy & Code Services Committee, opened committee consideration of a request to increase the number of Class G liquor licenses for Pie 5 Pizza Company at 787 East Dundee Road. Village staff told the committee it was a new license request and that staff had no concerns.

"They are seeking the license to add to the offerings they have available to them. We have no concerns," said a staff member. The committee voted in favor and moved the matter onto the consent calendar.

Later the Palatine Liquor Commission convened and took up the application. The commission made a motion, seconded it, heard no discussion or public comment, and approved the Class G license by voice vote. The commission then adjourned.

The approvals at committee and by the Liquor Commission complete the local review required for the license; no conditions or objections were recorded in the transcript.
