Applicant Asya Hovhanisyan said she will operate a licensed program for up to 12 children and confirmed she has two caregivers in place, noting: “For 12 kids, the licensing, are required to have 2 caregivers.” Neighbors raised parking, traffic and safety concerns tied to drop‑off and proximity to a shared wall and pool; one neighbor urged locating childcare in a commercial setting when possible.

Commissioner Jones said the county needs more childcare capacity but moved to approve with a one‑year review to verify there are no traffic or noise impacts; the motion passed.
