Committee of the Whole adjourns after short Aug. 3 meeting; motion carried unanimously

Mayor Gerard called the City of LeClaire Committee of the Whole to order at 6:25 p.m. on Aug. 3, 2026. Present were Council Members Amy Blair, Sara Gravert, Barry Long and Ryan Salvador; Bill Bloom was absent. City staff in attendance included City Administrator Dennis Bockenstedt, City Clerk Megan K. Smith, Fire Chief Shane Bleeker, Police Chief Shane Themas, Public Works Director Lane Bleeker, Parks & Recreation Director Greg Ludwig, Tourism Manager Cindy Bruhn, and City Engineer Eric Lee.

At 6:44 p.m. Barry Long moved to adjourn the meeting; the motion was seconded by Amy Blair and "carried unanimously on voice vote." The clerk attested to the minutes; no additional formal votes or ordinance actions were recorded in the minutes for this meeting.
