The Dewey Public Schools Board of Education approved its full consent agenda on Aug. 3, 2026, covering routine minutes, encumbrances, warrants, financial reports, activity fund transfers and other items.
"Approve the Consent Agenda as follows:" moved Amanda Guilfoyle and the motion passed unanimously. The consent package explicitly included the year‑three renewal of a Pitney Bowes postage meter service lease, approval of items listed as surplus equipment on Attachment A, and multiple fundraiser requests. The board also approved required school board continuing education hours.
The board designated Superintendent Vince Vincent as the district's Safety Coordinator and the person responsible for carrying out the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) obligations for the 2026–27 school year. The motion to name Vincent to that role was part of the consent motion approved by the board.
Board members voted without discussion on the consent items. No public comment was recorded during the meeting.
