County adds bridge 39-077-190 to 5-year plan, approves Bridge Improvement Grant application

Chairman Kyle Lee presented a Bridge Improvement Grant application for structure No. 39-077-190, describing the bridge as located over Redstone Creek about 3.7 miles east of Esmond on 215th Street. The board voted to move forward with the grant application and adopted an amendment to the County 5-Year Highway and Bridge Improvement Plan to add that structure.

The board adopted the amendment as Resolution 2026-15, which requests the South Dakota Department of Transportation accept the amended plan. The resolution language specifies the addition: "Add Structure No. 39-077-190 over Redstone Creek, 3.7 miles east of Esmond on 215th Street." Motion to approve the grant application and plan amendment passed unanimously.
