Council directs staff to merge Dave Nugent's 10-year infrastructure plan into a 10-year CIP

During the retreat council members voiced unanimous verbal support for a staff-led effort to incorporate the town's 10-year infrastructure plan into a formal 10-year capital improvement budget. Administrator Charity Canfield summarized council direction: "So council's direction is I need to take Dave Nugent's 10 year infrastructure plan and develop that in a 10 year capital improvement budget and have them mirror each other," and asked staff to update the plan for current financial circumstances.

Councilors agreed verbal staff direction was sufficient at this informal meeting and asked for a summarized update in September. The direction was procedural rather than a formal vote; the administrator said the budget-schedule constraints make the September draft the next opportunity to reflect that work.
