The magistrate found that landscaping and lot-clearing standards for properties under three acres were not met at 906 McCray Court (Rapid Auto Inc.). City officer Jarvis Gamble introduced photos documenting overgrown holly trees, tall grass and debris; a property manager, Eric Sharamka, attended and said cleanup was about 75% complete and asked for a short extension to finish the work and provide authorization documents from the owner.
Because the property owner was properly noticed but not present, the magistrate relied on staff photos and testimony and ordered the owner to complete compliance within 15 days; failure will result in a $100-per-day fine and referral to the nuisance abatement program. The magistrate also advised the property manager to submit an authorization form if he will represent the owner at future proceedings.
