Clerk reports multi‑fund financial update; TRT and road projects highlighted

Clerk Chanel Lam presented the countys financial update for the prior two months, walking commissioners through general, library, trails, road, task force, 9‑1‑1, TRT and several special funds. The presentation used side‑by‑side visuals of 2025, 2026 and budgeted amounts to show where revenues and expenditures stand relative to expectations.

Lam highlighted that $3,000,000 on the current budget is allocated for road improvements and that the TRT allocation includes $2,200,000 for establishing and promotion. She also noted a grant increase (from $17,500 previously to an anticipated $26,000) that may require a later budget adjustment. Lam emphasized that some funds (for example RDA increments) are being held until distribution conditions are met.

Commissioners thanked Lam for the clear charts and asked a few follow‑ups about fund balance and the process for approving specific project expenditures.
