City awards Trane HVAC service contracts across eight public buildings

The City of Danbury Board of Awards voted unanimously to award annual HVAC service agreements to Trane Technologies under the Omnia government cooperative contract for eight municipal sites. Purchasing Agent Charles J. Volpe reported site-specific quoted costs: City Hall ($11,087.00), Public Library ($10,411.00), Danbury High School ($3,935.00), Head Start School ($12,263.00), Beaver Brook Administration Building ($9,863.00), Career Academy ($9,112.00), Western Connecticut Academy for International Studies ($6,112.25) and Mill Ridge School ($2,469.00).

Superintendent of Public Buildings S. Hanley moved to award the services to Trane Technologies; Director of Finance D. Garrick seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. The approvals will allow scheduled preventive maintenance and contract support to continue across the listed municipal facilities.
