Board renews OpenGov and Tyler MUNIS contracts totaling roughly $370,000

The Board of Awards unanimously approved two annual technology renewals presented by Technology Services Director F. Gentile. The City will pay OpenGov $71,490.65 to renew permit management and community development software, and Tyler Technologies $299,274.89 for MUNIS enterprise ERP hosting, usage and software support. Gentile submitted sole-source justifications for both vendors, stating each company is the developer of proprietary systems currently in use by the city.

Gentile moved to award both renewals as sole-source contracts; Director of Finance D. Garrick seconded and both motions carried unanimously. The minutes note the OpenGov renewal was requested as a single-line requisition and Tyler as a separate requisition; both renewals proceed under sole-source justification included with the requisitions.
