Commission approves $5.74 million in bills and ratifies $3.51 million in interim payments

The commission approved two financial actions during the regular meeting.

Commissioner Gruber moved to pay county bills totaling $5,737,135.16, which the motion noted included 670 invoices; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. "Make a motion and we pay the bills totaling $5,737,135.16 which includes 670 invoices," Commissioner Gruber said when making the motion.

The commission also moved to ratify interim payments allowed by Policy 8.1 totaling $3,512,416.99 covering 68 invoices; that motion likewise carried on a voice vote.

Separately, the commission approved the consent agenda that had been set during the pre-work session. These items were approved by the commission during the regular meeting's consent and financial actions portion of the agenda.
