Clerks instructed to mark voters and take roll call to ensure correct vote tallies

Trainer emphasized the need to mark which joined accounts are actual voters before motions begin and to take roll call early in each committee segment so the system uses the correct baseline for pass/fail math. He said: "Go to the attendees tab, and just click voter for all of them. That's why none of us could vote." Clerks should set present/absent/excused for each item where attendance fluctuates.

The session also added 'excuse' (distinct from recuse) to the default vote profile so an operator can mark a member who is present but temporarily not participating. The trainer explained clerks can change who counts toward a given item's expected voters or mark people absent so the automatic tally reflects who is actually voting.
