Boscawen says Commercial Street on track; interpretive-panel funding deadline noted

Selectwoman Lorrie Carey asked whether the town remained on target to complete the Commercial Street project; Town Administrator Katie Phelps confirmed the work was on schedule. Carey said she has been developing interpretive panels associated with the project and cautioned there is an associated cost and a target date before related grant funds expire.

The board did not take formal action on the panels at the work session. Staff and the Select Board will need to ensure grant deadlines are met and return with cost estimates or requests if the Select Board is to commit town funds or accept grant terms. Town Administrator Katie Phelps confirmed the schedule when asked by the board.
