Sun Valley special meeting: council hears no public comment, unanimously approves ordinance and adjourns

The Sun Valley City Council met for a short special session on Aug. 6, 2019. After the mayor called the meeting to order at 4:01 PM and the pledge of allegiance was led by Aly Swindley of Visit Sun Valley, the council opened a public hearing on Ordinance No. 541. The hearing was opened and closed at 4:03 PM with no public comment recorded.

Council President Keith Saks moved the procedural motion to proceed with a second reading and read Ordinance No. 541 by title; Council Member Brad DuFur seconded. A roll-call vote was recorded with four ayes and no nays. The mayor declared the motion approved. Later, Council Member Michelle Griffith moved to adjourn, seconded by Council President Keith Saks; the council again voted unanimously and the mayor declared the meeting adjourned at 4:05 PM.
