The Sun Valley City Council approved the final plat for the Diamond Back Townhomes subdivision (SUBFP 2018-068) at a special meeting on Sept. 18, 2018. The approval covers Sublot 26 and Tract K on Diamond Back Road, and follows a staff recommendation in favor of the plat.
Community Development Director Bryce Ternet told the council the Community Development Department recommended approval of the final plat application. Cinda Lewis, representing Benchmark Associates on behalf of Sun Valley Company, informed the council that an inspector had signed off and that the units were complete and move-in ready. Wally Huffman of Sun Valley Company expressed gratitude to the mayor and council for addressing the application.
Council President Keith Saks moved to approve the Subdivision Final Plat Approval Application SUBFP 2018-068; Council Member Michelle Griffith seconded the motion. A roll-call vote recorded AYES from Council President Keith Saks, Council Member Brad DuFur (participating by telephone), Council Member Michelle Griffith and Council Member Jane Conard; there were no votes against the motion. Mayor Peter Hendricks declared the motion approved. The meeting was adjourned at 4:35 PM after a subsequent, separate motion to adjourn.
The action formally clears the final plat for the Diamond Back Townhomes project to be recorded per local procedures. The agenda and signed minutes list Peter M. Hendricks as mayor and Nancy Naue HamS Flannigan as city clerk for the meeting.
