Glendive council approves ambulance budget amendment in Resolution 3217

The Glendive City Council approved Resolution 3217 on a roll-call vote to amend the ambulance budget from the 510 fund, after a public hearing produced no speakers in favor or opposition. Mayor (speaker S2) opened and closed the hearing and then led the roll call and vote, announcing, “Motion passes 8 4 0 against.”

The mayor said the change will permit the city to release funds to the ambulance supplier for equipment and services already being used by the city’s emergency response. The resolution was identified in the meeting as Resolution 3217; no additional amendments were made during the council discussion. The mayor also noted that department staff reported ambulances continue to be heavily used, reinforcing the need for the budget amendment.
