Sun Valley council signs off on server replacement, online bill pay and City Hall update

During the 2020 budget review the council approved several IT and capital items the city will pursue in the coming year. Todd Mandeville described plans for an on-site server replacement (already budgeted), cautioned about cloud security issues and proposed online bill pay integration with Caselle costing $4,500 from CIP and $2,400 from Administration; the council agreed to proceed. The city also approved server room air conditioning and replacement computers for the Fire Department.

Separately, the council agreed to lease two police vehicles and approved a City Hall update budgeted at $99,260. Those items were accepted as part of the capital and operational expenditures the council reviewed in setting the 2020 budget framework.
