Marshall County audit finds no significant findings; reserves flagged for monitoring

Amanda Scanson of accounting firm Brady Martz delivered the county'025 audit exit interview and told the Board, "Overall, the audit went well with no significant findings." The audit report noted county reserves are slightly lower than prior periods and recommended monitoring those reserves and amending the Procurement Policy to improve compliance.

Auditor/Treasurer Scott Peters thanked county staff and the Brady Martz team for their work on the audit. The audit presentation listed attendees from the audit and county staff (Pam Shaw; Chris Kujava; Deanna Swendseid; Lon Aune; Mandy Rosendahl; Krista East). The Board received the exit interview as informational and no formal corrective actions were recorded during the meeting.
