Palatine Police Department introduces new officers and promotions

Police Chief Al Stoeckl introduced three civilian employees, five new sworn officers and two promotions during the meeting. He named hires and provided hiring dates and prior assignments: examples include Aaron Yonkowitz (hired 07/01/2015) and others who previously worked in Lake County and other departments. The chief noted family members present to pin badges and highlighted training backgrounds and prior careers for several hires.

The chief also acknowledged internal promotions, including Angelo Kalanka (promoted to sergeant on 04/26/2015) and Mike Seabacher (promoted to deputy chief of support services on 07/19/2015). The chief thanked family and attendees for coming to the ceremonial portion of the meeting.
