Resident reports no problems as council reviews Action Motors special use

The police policy and code services committee held a six-month review of the special use and variation for Action Motors at 646–648 Northwest Highway. A staff representative said the business has operated without issue since the original approval, noted that some planting required by earlier approvals remains pending and that conditions such as no test driving and no overnight storage remain in place. The staff memo said an expanded courtesy notice was mailed to properties within roughly 600 feet.

Resident Fred Hall of 215 South Elmwood Avenue read a brief letter to the council and provided a copy to the clerk, telling the committee that he and his neighbors had monitored Action Motors' operation and were "not aware of any of my neighbors' concerns about the operation of Action Motors." The committee voted aye and the item was placed on the consent agenda.
