Mayor announces Downtown TOD workshop, winter farmers market and MLK Day closure

Mayor opened the meeting with announcements inviting residents and business owners to a Downtown Palatine Transportation-oriented development community workshop, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Legion Hall. "Downtown Palatine Transportation, development plan community workshop, Wednesday, January 13, 7 to 9PM," the mayor said.

The mayor also announced the Palatine Winter Farmers Market on Saturday, Jan. 16 from 8 a.m. to noon at the train station and reminded residents that village offices would be closed Monday, Jan. 18 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day; the council will still meet that evening at 7 p.m. The mayor provided a project website, palatinedowntowntod.com, linked from the village's website for more information.
