Commissioner Doherty moved to approve the consent agenda with item 3(d) removed; Commissioner Thompson seconded and the board passed the motion 4-0.
County staff clarified that agenda item 3(f) is a $50,000 transfer from public works reserves into an existing public works line item and ‘‘will not require a budget amendment or any other action on behalf of the board other than to approve the transfer from reserves into the line item in the public works budget,’’ the county manager said. The board agreed to remove item 3(d) from today’s consent agenda and schedule it for consideration at the Aug. 20 meeting.
The board recorded its vote after a brief discussion and a clarification from the clerk about how the reserves and budget presentation would proceed. No additional actions or amendments were taken at the meeting on the items discussed; item 3(d) will return to the Aug. 20 agenda.
