Bradford County unveils preliminary $28.89 million capital improvement plan

The county manager presented Bradford County’s preliminary Capital Improvement Plan for fiscal years 2026–2031, saying the plan ‘‘identifies approximately $28,890,000 in planned capital improvements’’ and that it includes $5,020,000 in county-funded projects and $23,870,000 anticipated from grants and state or federal appropriations.

Staff listed major priorities as road resurfacing and reconstruction, sidewalks and infrastructure, courthouse ADA and safety upgrades, facility improvements, parks and recreation projects, and replacement of public works, solid waste, fleet and emergency-services equipment. The plan is preliminary and remains subject to revisions, available funding, grant awards and required budget actions, staff said.
