Dr. Jason Gregaitis told the board Aug. 4 that the district will restart its five-year strategic-plan cycle with a series of stakeholder engagements and an initial board retreat on Nov. 10.
"On November 10, we're gonna partner with GSBA again," Jason Gregaitis said, describing plans for a SWOT exercise at the board retreat followed by community meetings, a stakeholder survey and action-team work through the spring. He cited prior engagement levels (more than 2,000 survey responses in the previous cycle) and said the board will select two members to join the strategic-planning team when dates are finalized.
Gregaitis said action teams will translate stakeholder feedback into measurable goals and balance-scorecard metrics, with the board expected to approve goals and performance objectives in June and implementation to begin July 1.
Board members were invited to participate in the process and reminded that student and community input will shape priorities for the next five years.
