Airport staff sets timelines for snow-removal equipment, security gate and pavement work

Airport staff briefed the Butte City Airport Board on progress for several federally funded Airport Improvement Program projects, including equipment delivery and scheduled pavement work.

Rick Ryan, airport staff, said the AIP 77 snow-removal equipment delivery is "scheduled for some time in July." He also reported that work on the AIP 78 security gate "should be completed in the next couple weeks," and that AIP 79 and 80 pavement maintenance is "scheduled for first week of August." Those dates represent the current timelines the board will monitor as construction and procurement proceed.

The update was delivered under the board's old-business agenda and drew no formal motion or vote. Board members did not request additional funding during the update; staff indicated the projects remain on the planned schedule.
