The Stevenson-Carson School District Board of Directors voted Dec. 14 to keep its current leadership configuration and to reappoint Keith Chamberlain as the board's legislative representative.
Board Chair Jeff Wickersham called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Superintendent Ingrid Colvard asked that "the agenda be labeled as a special meeting," and the board moved through routine business before addressing officer positions. A motion to proceed with the existing board configuration carried with yay votes from Jon Paul Anderson, Laura Mills, Keith Chamberlain and Jeff Wickersham. A separate motion to keep Keith Chamberlain as the legislative board member passed with all voting members in favor.
The decisions preserve continuity in representation to the district and at external forums where a legislative representative liaises with state bodies. The board's actions were procedural and made by recorded motion and roll call; no formal contest to the nominations was recorded.
