Commissioner urges sending two members to meet initial road engineers rather than hiring new vendor

During other business at the Jan. 2 organizational meeting, Commissioner Robert Baldwin recommended that Commissioners David Persons and David Comai attend the County Road meeting with initial engineers Hobs and Black to explore alternatives rather than the County Road contracting a new vendor at a projected cost of $40,000.

The minutes state Baldwin’s preference that Persons and Comai represent the Board of Commissioners and take questions to Hobs and Black about other options to meet the needs initiated by the KCRC.
