Supervisor Brick elected chairman of Wyoming County Board; May named vice chair

Chairman Brick was elected to lead the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors for 2026 after a roll call vote at the county's annual organizational meeting on Jan. 2. Judge Kibler administered the Oath of Office; the roll call results reported in the minutes show the election outcome and subsequent oath.

Temporary Chairman Becker presided over nominations. Supervisor Klein nominated Supervisor Brick (Town of Perry); Supervisor McCormick nominated Supervisor Kehl (Town of Attica). Nominations were closed after calling three times and a roll call was taken; Supervisor Brick was declared Chairman and sworn in by Judge Kibler. After the chair's selection, Chairman Brick called for nominations for Vice-Chair. Supervisor Leuer nominated Supervisor May (Town of Orangeville), seconded by Supervisor Merrill; a roll call vote returned Ayes: 201, Noes: 0 and Supervisor May was declared Vice-Chair and sworn in.
