Select Board directs Melendi Pond legal expenses to pond revolving fund

The Select Board voted to charge legal expenses associated with Melendi Pond matters to the Melendi Pond revolving fund. S9 read the motion: "Legal expenses, including right to no (sic) requests that relate to Melendi Pond review and advice will come out of the Melendi Pond revolving fund," and the board approved the change by voice vote.

Members clarified the scope should be broad and include legal advice and related matters tied to Melendi Pond; the board amended language to make the provision apply to "all legal expenses associated with Melendi Pond" and accepted that fund accounting would be handled from the existing revolving fund line. Staff will confirm coding and billing procedures so future invoices are charged correctly.
