Utah County GOP ratifies platform packet and allows editorial corrections

The Central Committee distributed the adopted (not-yet-ratified) Utah County Republican Party platform and the chair assumed a motion permitting corrections for grammar, typos and spelling to the platform packet; members adopted that procedural allowance without objection. The platform packet includes a plank asserting that "individual responsibility and accountability are necessary for government to operate within the limited powers granted by the divinely inspired Constitution," printed in the meeting materials.

At least one editorial correction applied elsewhere in the meeting (removing a repeated "is" in resolution language) was adopted without objection. The minutes and slides were referenced for detailed platform content; the transcript records distribution and the procedural approval for non-substantive edits, not a separate roll-call of ratification.
