Mayor Patisher announces Village Hall reopening, summer events and temporary closure

Mayor Patisher opened the June 13 meeting with announcements about upcoming community events and an operational change for village offices. He said the Palatine Public Library will host a used-book sale June 17–19 and reminded residents that the weekly farmers market runs Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Palatine Train Station parking lot.

He told the council that Village Hall would be closed to the public on Friday, June 24 so staff can relocate back into the renovated Village Hall at 200 East Wood Street. "Resume normal business hours and operations out of our renovated Village Hall, 200 East Wood Street. This will be on Monday, June 27, 8AM," the mayor said. He added, "We're excited about that move back." The council did not debate or amend these announcements and then recessed to committee work.
