Council committee approves two-lot subdivision and one-foot lot-width variation at 305 N. Clyde

The community and economic development committee considered a request to subdivide an existing R-2 lot at 305 North Clyde Avenue into two lots of roughly 0.15 acres each and to grant a one-foot lot-width variation for one of the lots.

"Both the lots will be approximately, 0.15 acres," a staff planner said. Staff told the committee that other bulk standards conform to R-2 requirements and that the plan commission unanimously recommended approval. Committee members had no substantive questions from the public, and the committee voted to include the item on the council consent agenda.

If approved by the full council on the consent agenda, the subdivision and variation will allow the property owner to move forward with the proposed split under applicable village standards.
