Developer representative thanks staff for resolving property-owner concerns ahead of zoning vote

A representative for the Arvo Group spoke during public comment at the Aug. 3 Missouri City Council meeting to thank staff for resolving a property-owner's concerns ahead of the council's zoning action.

The speaker noted that property owner Vibhor Malhotra was present and praised staff by name: "your wonderful staff, Story, Storai, Jennifer, Shashi, and everyone involved took the time to visit with Mr. Malhotra...and what you're going to see tonight is a resolution of some of the things that we had a chance to visit about," the commenter said. The speaker indicated the owner and representatives would stay through the meeting to answer any additional questions.

The comment preceded the council's discussion and vote on the PD ordinance for the Sienna Parkway/Fort Pinto corners; staff told council they had worked with the property owners while drafting the PD, and staff and Planning & Zoning recommended approval.
