Lynwood board unanimously approves two large disbursement memos totaling more than $1.5 million

Trustee Cynthia Eaves presented two bill-payment memos and the board voted unanimously to approve both. "BPM #1544, for a total disbursement of $661,046.73 of which $184,268.72 was payroll," was approved after a motion by Trustee Eaves and a second by Trustee Sherri Dunlap.

Trustee Eaves then moved to approve "BPM #1545, for a total disbursement of $860,729.02 of which $188,555.93 was payroll," with Trustee David Lilly seconding; that motion also carried unanimously. No board member recorded a nay vote. Eaves additionally highlighted community job and scholarship notices during the finance report.

The approvals were recorded by roll call and entered into the meeting minutes. The finance director indicated the 2023 audit has begun; checks and disbursements will be reflected in forthcoming financial reports and reconciliations.
