Sutton creates conservation commission, appoints five members

At the July 30 meeting the Select Board approved the formation of a conservation commission and appointed five members. Tara Scheidet reported that the group held its first meeting and proposed monthly meetings on the third Friday at 9 a.m. at the Sutton Fire Department; the board approved the appointments by motion.

The minutes list the five appointees — Donald Prince, Wanda Jastrzembski‑Prince, Katy Banovic, Lauren Chamberlin and Heather Bella — and reference VTConservation.org as a resource for commission activities.
