Resident suggests community-funded school meals to avoid federal data tracking

She asked whether the community could explore filling gaps so children receive meals without triggering tracked federal subsidy records and requested a study group to examine viable local approaches.

Chair JC Grama said the council is convening a food‑security work group and invited Srilakshmi to draft a written motion for formal consideration; he also suggested the new work group could review the proposal and report back. Council staff offered a sign‑up sheet for volunteers interested in the committee and encouraged drafting motion language for a future meeting.
