Board discusses expanding CTE and dual-enrollment options alongside college readiness goals

Trustees emphasized the need to prioritize pathways that are sustainable within the current master schedule and enrollment levels.

Trustees and staff discussed local industry partnerships (for example, with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades) and possible pathways such as engineering, cybersecurity, ag‑tech and medical careers. A trustee urged clarifying how many dual-enrollment courses to offer and which subjects to prioritize so that the district can plan staffing and partnerships for the coming years.
