Committee approves underground right‑of‑way license for Everstream

The Infrastructure & Environment Committee recommended authorizing the village manager to execute a license agreement permitting Everstream GLC Holdings, LLC to use specified portions of village right‑of‑way for telecommunications facilities. Staff said Everstream is certified by the Illinois Commerce Commission to provide telecom services and that the requested license covers only the corridors shown in the packet exhibits.

"It is exclusively for these corridors, and it is all to be underground," staff said. Committee members heard that the proposed use was confined to mapped corridors (shown in green and orange in the packet) and that the company seeks underground installation in those corridors only. The committee voted to place the license on the council consent agenda for final action.
