The commission approved the Nov. 15, 2016 minutes and a set of vendor claims. Line items cited in the meeting included Computer Professionals Unlimited ($3,593.02), Minnesota Department of Administration ($3,205.83), CS Diesel ($4,279.07), Hancock Concrete Products ($2,354.24), L & O Acres Transport ($3,422.10), Larson’s LLC ($9,892.00), True North Steel ($4,902.00) and Whaley Excavating ($21,800.00). Per Minnesota Statute 375.12, the board noted there were 55 claims of $2,000 or less totaling $26,445.34. The board approved placing a $50,000 capital expenditure for the Traverse Care Center into the 2017 budget (motion by T. Johnson, second by Salberg; unanimous).
The Rainbow Rider contract renewal for the county was approved with no changes from the prior year. Commissioners also approved increases to 2017 county park rates: $30/day with electric, $15/day without electric, $10 for the RV dump, $25/day shelter with camping and $50/day shelter without camping.
