Court reporter given permission to pursue appropriation request for courtroom chairs

Debbie Arnett, court reporter for Steuben County Circuit Court, asked for council permission to proceed so she can bring a formal additional-appropriation request to a future meeting for the purchase of courtroom chairs. Arnett told council she had already received permission from the county commissioners and presented types of chairs and approximate costs.

Council members agreed to permit Ms. Arnett to move ahead with the formal appropriation process and asked her to return with an official request at the next council meeting.
