Titonka council requires liability waivers and $10 monthly fee for gym use

Council members discussed and recorded a new gymnasium usage policy during the Feb. 12 meeting. Council and staff agreed that anyone using the City gymnasium must sign a liability waiver; access will be limited to City Hall hours and the fee is set at $10 per month per person. The decision was recorded in the meeting minutes as part of routine business.

The policy was presented without a separate roll-call vote in the minutes but was accepted as council direction under consent items. City staff will be responsible for implementing the waiver and fee collection procedures and for communicating the hours of permitted use to the public.
