The Truth or Consequences City Commission voted July 29 to approve a one-year engagement agreement with Bosky Advisors LLC to provide municipal advisory services, including support for an ongoing tranche of general obligation bonds and election-related preparations.
Staff told the commission the relationship would help complete the final tranche of the city’s general obligation bonds, which must be finished by November, and assist with an election agenda should the commission pursue a 3-mil continuation next year. A Bosky representative, introduced by staff as part of the team, said the firm returns annually for reengagement to give the commission a chance to evaluate services. "We're hopeful we've done a good job for the city," the presenter said.
A commissioner moved to approve the engagement agreement and to authorize the city manager to execute the contract; the motion was seconded and approved by the commission. The vote outcome was recorded in the meeting as carried. The approved contract continues Bosky Advisors' role advising on the city's bond program and related election materials.
