St. Charles council unanimously approves agenda, minutes, budget reports and bills

The St. Charles City Council approved routine procedural items at its Aug. 7 meeting, including the meeting agenda, minutes from July 10, the treasurer and budget reports for June, and the August bills. The motion to approve the agenda was made by Whitney Hutton and seconded by Tom Blomme; similar motions for the minutes and bills were moved and seconded by council members and passed by voice vote.

Council recorded formal motion makers and seconders for each item: Lois Stanley/Tom Blomme moved to approve the July 10 minutes; Tom Blomme/Megan Allison moved to approve the treasurer and budget reports for June; and Dan Kozak/Tom Blomme moved to approve the August bills. The minutes show each vote was decided by a voice vote and passed unanimously.
