Council reviewed a land-split proposal for property at 810 W Main Street and approved the preliminary plan to create a 120-foot lot, subject to specific sewer-work conditions. The motion — moved by Megan Allison and seconded by Tom Blomme — included a condition that when sewer service is run to the new lot, the sewer main will be extended 10–12 feet with 8-inch PVC and a clean-out must be installed before a 4-inch single-service connection is made. The minutes state Dan Kozak abstained from the vote; the remainder of the council approved the motion.
Council also reviewed a separate building-permit concept for 401 W Council Drive and asked that proposed house measurements be adjusted to meet City Code and that the driveway include a larger culvert to preserve the integrity of an on-site drainage area. The property owner is to submit a final plat for the 810 W Main split after survey work is complete.
