IT will provision commissioner logins; clerks should confirm accounts before meetings

Participants raised questions about how commissioners log in to Legislate. The trainer explained that for the first login commissioners will receive credentials (often provisioned by IT), and that devices with on-screen keyboards (Surface, iPad) can be used; phones are not recommended for prolonged legislative work.

A participant explained IT will provision accounts: "IT is gonna have them all set up, with the username and password...that's gonna be the responsibility of IT," and the trainer added that if accounts are not ready staff can log in on their behalf for training runs. The group agreed to have IT prepare accounts and to verify that commissioners can "join meeting" ahead of the next session.
