Committee members discussed scheduling the education subcommittee so the policy and management group could review changes before the full board's April meeting. Dr. Chamberlain said he is unavailable on the original date and will reschedule the education committee meeting earlier to allow the policy to be considered and, if needed, returned to Policy and Management for further edits.
"I'm gonna have to move my education my meeting that night because I'm actually not gonna be here," Dr. Chamberlain said when discussing calendar conflicts; he added he would look at alternate dates so the education subcommittee could complete its review before the April board agenda.
Members clarified April board meeting dates (some confusion between the 23rd and 26th) and agreed to aim for the education subcommittee to meet in time for the April first reading. Chimerlake confirmed the policy materials would be provided to counselors and subcommittee members prior to that meeting.
