District says Oracle payroll issues shrinking; TRS files approved by state

District finance staff provided an update on Oracle and payroll reconciliations, saying the number of open payroll issues has decreased over recent reporting windows and that the district has submitted and received state approval on Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS) files for the 2025–26 year.

McDowell said TRS service‑time and salary files were approved and that Employees’ Retirement System (ERS) reporting is up to date for recent months. He acknowledged outliers—substitutes, consultants and per‑diem staff—that still require reconciliation and said the general ledger integration is nearing completion for standard payroll. The New York State office of audit services is conducting an audit covering 2021–2025 and administration said it is providing weekly updates to auditors.
